The Saint Cloud Amateur Radio Club would like to announce the 100 Year

 Anniversary Cabin Fever Reliever Hamfest at the Haehn Campus Center in the College of Saint Benedict.

The event will be January 27,2018 from 9am to 1pm!

Buffet tickets are $10 for an all you can eat buffet! The advance tickets are over! You can still purchase them at the event.

If you need a booth, we will have to figure out sizing with the map.

 We have a larger venue so if you are a larger vendor, we can work with you.

$10 = Bring your own table
$7.50 / table for electricity (no sharing) LIMITED AVAILABILITY

Tables at the door will be an additional $5 per table if we have available room / tables.

Event Door Prizes

Everyone likes a door prize, so we have a lot of them!

We will be giving out the following door prizes during the event:

You must be present to win. Door drizes during the event will have a half hour claim time. After that the prize will go to the next hour. The 1pm drawings will be drawn until someone present at that drawing wins.

50 / 50 Drawing

During the event  we will also have a 50 / 50 Raffle drawing in accordance with Minnesota State Statute One Day Raffle.

Tickets will be $1 each and 50% of the ticket price will go to the prize pool and 50% will go towards the donation to the Saint Cloud Amateur Radio Club.

MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN!

We will have the totals updated every 15 minutes.

Prizes will be dished out as follows:

1st Draw 20%*
2nd Draw 15%*
3rd Draw 10%*
4th Draw 5%*

*No prize is to exceed $599. If any prize goes over $599 the money will overflow into the lower draw. For example, if the 1st Draw is $615, the $16 that is over $599 would go to build the 2nd Draw higher under Minnesota State Statute Gambling Laws no prize shall exceed $599.

Third party volunteers will assist the club for the drawing. Members of the club will be allowed to purchase tickets as nobody from the club will be running the drawing.

Doors open at 8:30 for equipment check in, the sale will start at 9:30. The Silent Auction will end at 11:30 so results tabulations can be finished on time.

The church is located .8 mile South of Hwy 36 and .2 mile West of Lexington Ave. Cross Street is Fernwood. We will be using the lower level entrance off Roselawn Ave. for all our activities. Carts will be available for transporting gear in and out. Go to this URL for maps and street views.

We offer the SELLERS an option of listing equipment for the Live auction or a Silent auction for the smaller or less important items.

ST. PAUL RADIO CLUB AUCTION RULES

As with any event involving the exchange of funds, there are certain rules to follow. Please read and familiarize yourself with these rules.

The net amount collected by the St. Paul Radio Club will be donated to the

ARRL Spectrum Defense Fund!

Registration of equipment and issuance of bidder numbers starts at 8:30 a.m. There is no charge for buyers. The auction will continue until each lot is sold or until terminated by combined rulings of the SPRC President and Auction Committee.

Minimum incremental bidding is set at: $1 to $25 - $1; $25 to $100 - $5; $100 and up - $10, subject to the Auctioneers discretion. A 10% commission on all items will be charged to the sellers. There will be a silent auction option (ask registration for details) for sellers with small items.

Equipment registration will be limited to 25 lots per person and each lot will be sold for one price. Auction officials may combine lots of similar equipment by the same seller if requested. Equipment will be sold to the highest bidder.

You may set a listed minimum price for your items. Lots not receiving the minimum bid will be returned to the seller without charge and all sellers must take all unsold items with them.

You may donate items to the SPRC to sell (ask registration how); All buyer and seller transactions with the St. Paul Radio Club must be completed on the day of the auction. Personal checks will be accepted with proper identification.

Buyers may be required to show proof of a current, valid Amateur Radio License for the purchase of transmitters and amplifiers. No equipment will be allowed off the auction premises without proof of ownership.

The St. Paul Radio Club does NOT warrant the condition of any item placed at auction, will not be responsible for items lost, stolen or damaged and reserves the right to limit quantities. Personal sales will not be permitted until after the Auction is completed.

 The S.P.R.C. is affiliated with the ARRL testing program and holds these test sessions monthly.

We test at the  Ramsey County Library in Maplewood, 3025 Southlawn Dr., Maplewood. 

The VE sessions begin at 10:00 am on the first Saturday of each month.

The Anoka County Radio Club schedules

V.E. amateur radio testing sessions on most every 2nd Saturday

of the month throughout the year.

We are ready to test new and upgrading hams in all the current FCC elements.

The Anoka County Radio Club's testing starts at 9:00 a.m.

and we will continue to take walk-ins until 10:00am. We test at the Blaine City Hall.

The Blaine City Hall is at 10801 Town Square Dr, Blaine, MN,

at the corner of 109th Street and Radisson Road in Blaine.

From Hwy 65, go east on 109th St. Continue on 109th Street

until you cross Radisson Road.   The city hall is located behind the apartment

complex and Walgreen's store.

This net is held on the 145.390- repeater every second Sunday

of the month at 1;00 PM. It is typically run from the City of Richfields

 Mobile Operations Center by a member, or members, of the

 Richfield CERT Communications Team. It is designed as a training

and familiarization drill for passing message traffic.

 All our welcome to check-in with or without traffic to pass.
